Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead GMP-regulated pharmaceutical production operations. You will ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and compliantly while driving team performance and quality standards.

Based in Stratford, the role focuses on overseeing GMP production activities, CAPA management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will develop KPIs, manage health and safety, and lead workforce planning and training to deliver on-time

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP-regulated production environments.
• Minimum 2 years in GMP production.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to lead GMP-regulated pharmaceutical production operations. You will be responsible for ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and compliantly while driving team performance, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production team, driving performance and accountability.
• Oversee GMP production activities, ensuring customer requirements are delivered on time.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, company procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage deviations, CAPAs, investigations, and change controls.
• Develop and monitor departmental KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Lead Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, and succession planning.
• Ensure production facilities, equipment, and consumables are maintained and audit ready.
• Previous experience managing teams within a GMP-regulated production environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, CAPA management, and audit readiness.
• Proven leadership, workforce planning, and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and commitment to compliance.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a GMP production environment.
