Job summary

Air Recruitment in London is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead complex retail, experiential and live-event productions from design development through fabrication, installation and delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong fabrication knowledge and the ability to manage budgets, schedules and suppliers while safeguarding the creative vision.

Based in Battersea with hybrid working, the ideal candidate will travel regularly in the UK and internationally, oversee site

Qualifications

• 5+ years' production management experience across retail, experiential, exhibitions, live events or creative production.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, materials, finishes and construction processes.
• Proven experience delivering complex physical builds from design through to installation.
• Experience managing suppliers, contractors, fabricators and specialist production partners.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing and reconciling production budgets.
• Ability to review technical drawings and production information.
• Strong understanding of logistics, installation and on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Leading production from design development through fabrication, installation and completion.
• Translating creative concepts into practical, buildable and cost-effective productions.
• Managing production budgets, schedules, scopes of work and supplier quotations.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, materials and fabrication methods.
• Sourcing and managing fabricators, contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Identifying technical, commercial and logistical risks and developing solutions.
• Overseeing quality control, site visits, pre-builds, installations and breakdowns.
• Managing logistics including freight, transport, storage and international delivery where required.
• Maintaining strong communication across clients, designers, project teams and suppliers.
