Job description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all production activities.


Responsibilities
  1. Health & Safety
    1. Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.
    2. Report and investigate incidents; lead Toolbox Talks.
  2. Team Leadership
    1. Promote accountability and teamwork.
    2. Lead by example in attendance, discipline, and workplace standards.
    3. Support, coach, and review performance of team members.
  3. Production & Process Improvement
    1. Meet daily output and quality targets through strong floor presence.
    2. Set and track KPIs for production performance.
    3. Manage staffing, scheduling, and workloads efficiently.
    4. Lead lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
    5. Balance production lines and eliminate process bottlenecks.
  4. Quality Assurance
    1. Monitor product quality and reduce rework.
    2. Enforce raw material and in-process quality checks.
    3. Improve Right First Time (RFT) performance and product yield.
  5. Training & Development
    1. Keep training records and SOPs updated.
    2. Identify training needs and run effective inductions.
  6. Cost & Budget Management
    1. Ensure production stays within budget.
    2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce waste.
    3. Track and report key financial and operational metrics.

  3. HNC or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar.
  4. Familiar with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  5. Strong focus on health, safety, and compliance.
