About the Role
Vickerstock are proud to be partnering our growing food client - a highly regarded name in premium meat production with a product range that's trusted by customers across the country - in their search for a Production Manager to lead their operations at their modern facility in Co Fermanagh.

This key role is suited to someone with strong experience in food production and a real passion for delivering excellence in both product and process. You will take full ownership of the bacon/gammon line - managing people, product, and performance to the highest quality and food safety standards.

What we have to offer:

Your day to day:

  • Leading day-to-day bacon and gammon production activities
  • Driving compliance with HACCP and all relevant food safety regulations
  • Coaching and developing a skilled team of production operatives
  • Managing stock levels, production data and minimising waste
  • Inspecting equipment and liaising on maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Implementing improvements to boost efficiency and throughput
  • Quickly resolving quality or safety concerns on the line
  • Proven background in food production management (meat sector highly desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot line issues
  • Leadership qualities - hands-on, approachable and results-driven
  • Confident juggling multiple priorities at once
  • Commitment to excellence; hygiene, safety, and product integrity come first
