Job description

Cure Talent are excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of innovative healthcare solutions in their search for a Technical Production Manager.

As the new Technical Production Manager, you will take ownership of operational performance, people leadership, and process optimisation. This is a pivotal role within the manufacturing team, responsible for directing and co-ordinating production to meet manufacturing schedules, cost targets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring products are manufactured to specification and delivered on time
  • Monitoring and managing budgets, stock levels, waste, and productivity
  • Leading lean manufacturing programmes, including 5S
  • Working with Quality, Health & Safety, and Customer Service to optimise processes and resolve issues
  • Managing staffing levels, recruitment, training and development

Key requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in Production Management
  • Demonstrable experience with lean manufacturing, process improvements and proactive quality management
  • Excellent leadership with the ability to deliver results in a pressurised environment
  • Experience in a highly regulated production environment
