• Durchführung wöchentlicher Besprechungen zur Überprüfung des Fortschritts.

Job description

Our Client is a specialist manufacturer with contracts across Ireland and the UK. Due to an increase in contracts, they have an opportunity for a Production Manager to join their Senior management team.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee Team Leaders and approximately 80-100 employees and will be responsible for planning and organising production to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget and to required standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage Operational Tracker for all live and pending projects.
2. Chair twice weekly production meetings to confirm all delivery requirements.
3. Ensure approved information is issued to production in a timely manner to meet required delivery dates.
4. Provide updates daily to clients via email and phone.
5. Meet weekly with Project Managers & Operations Manager to go through manufacturing progress.
6. Check procurement schedules for errors and completeness prior to handover and troubleshoot any procurement issues whilst jobs are in manufacture.
7. Determine labour resources required with factory area team leaders.
8. Continually develop & review standard operating procedures for production operations.
9. Work with floor team leaders to ensure flow of information and understanding is cohesive and quality standards are met.
10. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
11. Analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
12. Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
13. Manage production budgets against tendered budgets.
14. Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including sales, procurement, distribution, installation and management.
15. Assist with transport and logistics of goods in and out.

Person Specification:

1. 5+ years knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
2. Knowledge of raw materials (a joinery background is preferable).
3. 5+ years knowledge & experience of quality systems and standards.
4. Fully IT literate.
