Job summary

MPA Recruitment is seeking a Production Manager for a manufacturing site near Omagh, Co. Tyrone. You will own day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

You will lead a skilled production team, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, while managing budgets and staffing to maximise efficiency.

The Opportunity

As Production Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day production operation, ensuring the team consistently delivers against safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery targets.

You will lead a skilled production team while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and continuously improve the operation.

Key Responsibilities

As Production Manager, you will oversee the full production function, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day production activities to ensure output, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
• Leading, coaching, and developing production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Driving lean manufacturing initiatives, focusing on waste reduction, process optimisation, and cost efficiency.
• Managing production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
• Monitoring KPIs and operational performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and promoting a strong safety culture across the site.
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
• Managing production budgets, resources, and staffing levels to maximise efficiency.
• Maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve production challenges.
