The company in Dukinfield are looking for someone who will be reporting directly to and supporting the Managing Director in coordinating the day-to-day operation of the factory teams and providing full compliance responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
2. Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
3. Responsibility for Health and Safety across all departments.
4. Plan/carry out an annual programme of internal and external audits.
5. Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
6. Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
7. Hands-on involvement in supporting day-to-day running of a production department.
8. Manage servicing and maintenance for all equipment.

Requirements:

1. Experience of health and safety essential, preferably with IBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
2. Highly organised with strong administrative and communication skills.
3. Previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
4. Previous experience of a production environment preferably in a supervisory capacity.
5. Able to work very closely with the Managing Director.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Computer literate.

This unique position of Production Manager with IOSH will provide you with:

1. £40,000.00 minimum
2. 0800 - 1630 hours Monday to Friday
3. Permanent Position from day 1
4. Parking
5. Full Training on systems
