Job summary

MacGregor Black is partnering with a global manufacturer of technical protective workwear on the search for a Production Manager based in Doncaster, UK. The role owns end-to-end production across multiple product categories and an international manufacturing base, reporting into the Director of Manufacturing and taking line management of a Production Coordinator.

You will travel internationally to manufacturing partners, manage KPIs such as OTIF and lead time, and drive cost savings and margins

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in apparel production, sourcing or production management, operating at a senior level.
• Proven track record managing international manufacturing partners and complex supply chains
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in supplier negotiation and cost reduction
• Proficient in PLM systems and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
• Background in PPE, technical workwear or performance clothing beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end manufacturing across multiple product categories, international partners and raw material supply chains
• Own production KPIs including OTIF performance, lead-time reduction, cost price savings and margin improvement
• Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust production plans and capacity with the Supply Chain team
• Line manage the Production Coordinator and support strategic manufacturing projects and quarterly sprints
• Travel internationally to manufacturing partners to conduct performance reviews and strengthen relationships

Do you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in apparel production, sourcing or production management at a senior level?

MacGregor Black is partnering with a global manufacturer of technical protective workwear on the search for a Production Manager based in Doncaster, UK.

The business supplies arc and flame protective clothing to electrical professionals in over 80 countries, with a strong footprint across the UK, Europe and the USA. This role owns end-to-end production across multiple product categories and an international manufacturing base, reporting into the Director of Manufacturing and taking line management of a Production Coordinator. It's a senior, commercially-facing position combining supplier relationship management with hard KPI ownership OTIF, cost, margin and lead time.
