Responsibilities

Main Tasks

• Oversee all production staff and operations to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Lead daily shift meetings to establish priorities and maintain clear, consistent communication across all relevant departments.
• Generate and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor product quality and operational efficiency across all machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Drive material efficiency by coordinating with shift leaders and quality teams to minimise waste, manage scrap, and optimise use of barriers and adhesives.
• Coordinate and/or conduct training sessions to ensure all team members understand their roles in maintaining safety, quality, and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with quality and technical teams to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of tool and colour changes.
• Investigate customer complaints thoroughly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure the impound area is maintained and managed according to company protocols.
• Manage staffing levels, attendance, and absences to maintain efficient production flow.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will require;

• Good written and oral communication skills across departments and with customers.
• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in quality management systems within a processing/ manufacturing production environment.
• ISO 9001 and BRC experience.
• Proactive with a pragmatic approach to work and problem solving.
• Project/time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
