Overview

Our client is a fast-growing Mechanical Contractor that manufactures and installs specialist products for highly regulated projects, including Nuclear & Rail, and is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations within a busy production facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost control, and productivity.
• Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture across all production areas.
• Manage and develop a skilled, motivated, and flexible production workforce including 3 direct reports and 20 indirect.
• Analyse performance data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Qualifications / Skills

• Proven experience in Production / Manufacturing Management within a Welding / Fabrication environment.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• HNC or equivalent in Engineering / Manufacturing discipline is preferred.

Role Details

• Location: Bury
• Salary: circa £45k - £50k (dependent on experience)
• Permanent role
• Hours: circa 37 per week (Mon-Thurs, Fri and Apply online only)
