Production Manager

RPS is working exclusively with a leading automotive, precision components manufacturer, supplying to brands such as Aston Martin, JLR, and Lotus.

They are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their Burnley site, leading business unit production requirements, assets, and resources in accordance with customer and regulatory standards.

The Role
  • Management of Business Unit production provisions, including resource management, productivity, producibility, hardware maintenance, and monitoring to BMS requirements.
  • Production planning of BU to meet customer/internal schedule requirements and achieve KPI targets.
  • Lead the BU to achieve safety targets, including accident prevention and near misses.
  • Manage and lead the business unit to meet internal and external quality KPIs.
  • Achieve an OEE KPI target of 80% efficiency.
  • Manage resources to meet absence rates and headcount KPIs.
  • Lead the business unit in RCCA and continuous improvement activities related to production performance issues.

Qualifications and Experience
  • GCSE Level A-E / NVQ Level 2–3 / BTEC National Diploma Level 3.
  • Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Production Leader or Manager is preferred.
  • Experience with MRP systems is desirable.
