Position: Production Manager - Sheet Metal Fabrication

Location: Bromsgrove

Basic Salary: £30,000 negotiable for the right candidate.

Hours: 7.30 am to 4.45 pm M-T (7.30 - 13:00 Friday)

This role allows you to be hands-on while providing a platform for professional growth into a managerial position.

About the Company: Well-established in the fabricating industry, our client is seeking a Production Manager to join their tight-knit team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage overall day-to-day factory operations.
2. Implement production schedules, ensuring timely order completion.
3. Ensure equipment safety and adherence to company maintenance standards.
4. Handle stock control and material ordering.
5. Monitor and enhance productivity rates and product quality.
6. Identify cost-saving opportunities in production processes.
7. Build, train, and manage the production team.

Requirements:

• Fabrication experience with the ability to work from technical drawings.
• Sheet metal background working with Galv, Plastisol, Mild, and Stainless Steels.
• Experience in Rolling, Folding, Cutting, and Marking Out processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
• Strong time management skills.
• Positive attitude and professionalism.
• Experience with machines such as 3M Press Brake, 3M x 6mm Guillotine, Welder, CNC Profile Cutting Plasma (preferred).
