Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Northamptonshire is seeking a Production Manager to lead on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality and daily output with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

This is a days-based role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where decisive action and team leadership drive continuous improvement and operational success.

• Solid understanding of food safety, quality standards and factory compliance.
• Experience driving KPIs and continuous improvement across a busy operation.

Everyone wants a Production Manager.

Not everyone wants to actually manage production.

This role isn't about watching the numbers from behind a desk. It's about being on the shop floor, leading from the front, solving problems before they become bigger problems, and making sure the operation delivers every single day.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing production teams to consistently hit safety, quality and production targets.
• Driving performance through coaching, accountability and strong people management.
• Managing labour, materials and productivity to keep the operation running efficiently.
• Working closely with Technical, Engineering and Planning to keep the factory moving.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and increase output.

This is a days-based role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. No two days are the same, so you'll need to enjoy making decisions, thinking on your feet and getting stuck in.
