Job summary

Rachel Hill Resourcing is seeking a production operative in Leighton Buzzard to operate production machinery, load materials and perform quality checks. The role requires following strict health and safety procedures and maintaining clean, organised workspaces.

The position is temporary to permanent, with hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of £13 per hour. Previous production experience is desirable but not essential, and team-oriented reliability is valued.

Qualifications

• Desireable but not essential: previous manufacturing/production experience.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load raw materials into machinery and remove finished products.
• Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Follow production instructions, specifications and health & safety procedures.
• Keep the production area clean, tidy and organised.
• Report any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor.
• Work to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Assist with packing, labeling and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Carry out other general production duties as required.
