Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a machine operative to join the production team. You will operate bagging and production machinery, ensuring safe, efficient manufacture and adherence to quality standards to meet GMP requirements.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, responsibilities include quality checks, records, and working as part of a team to achieve targets while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
• Basic computer skills and good numeracy.
• Food safety / HACCP knowledge.
• Health & safety and manual handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and bagging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Complete quality checks and production records.
• Ensure products meet customer quality standards and GMP requirements.
• Monitor machinery and report any faults or issues.
• Follow production plans and help achieve targets.
• Minimise waste and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
