Job summary

Albert Bartlett is recruiting for Production Line Support Operatives at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. The role requires performing line start-up checks, ensuring cleanliness, and conducting safety and CCP checks to maintain high production standards.

You will assist the production team, complete paperwork, and support a small team while following SOPs to ensure a safe, efficient environment focused on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Food Safety level 2 or above is desirable.
• Experience in quality assurance/quality control/HACCP is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
• Experience within a similar role and/or a food environment.
• Awareness of the importance of food safety.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Computer literate.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily line start-up checks prior to starting production.
• Ensure line areas are clean, tidy and ready for start of production.
• Perform safety checks and CCP checks prior to starting production.
• Carry out label, date, foil, packaging and printing quality checks as per specs.
• Collect required items such as labels or film samples.
• Ensure probes and scales are calibrated prior to use.
• Assist production team leader and QA as required.
• Complete production documentation prior to QA inspection.
• Hand documents to QA team after safety checks.
• Support a small team and follow SOPs to maintain food and people safety.

We are currently recruiting for Production Line Support Operatives at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - rolling shift / Working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs

Rate of pay: £14.23

Responsibilities

• Perform daily line start-up checks prior to starting production.
• Ensure line areas are clean, tidy and in a condition suitable for starting products on the line.
• Perform safety checks with x-rays and all hourly CCP checks prior to starting production.
• Perform all label, date, foil,packagingand printing quality checks according to specifications and standards.
• Collect required itemssuch aslabels or film samplesin accordance withthejob sheet.
• Ensureprobesand scalesare correctlycalibratedprior to use.
• Assistproduction team leader and QA team if requested.
• Complete and check all production documentation prior to QA inspection.
• Ensurenecessary paperwork is completed, safety checks are performed, and the documents are handed to the QA team.
• Help manage and support a small team, ensuring company processes (SOP’s) are followed,maintainingafood and people safe environment.
• Report any breaches of company policy and procedurein a timely manner(including H&S & discipline).

• Food Safety level 2or aboveis desirable.
