Job summary

CDS Labour (Group UK) Ltd is seeking a Production Line Supervisor to support the Production Manager and drive day-to-day operations in a busy food production facility in Nottingham. You will lead a team, monitor daily activities, and ensure targets are met while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Experience in food production/manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating plant machinery and using basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting the production team.
• Managing daily line activities to achieve production targets.
• Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance.
• Conducting probation reviews, training and coaching team members.
• Ensuring stock is used correctly and efficiently.
• Championing Health & Safety standards within the department.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
• Providing cover for the Production Manager when required.

The Role of Production Line Supervisor:
