Job Description

Contract Type: 6 months Fixed Term

Salary / Benefits: £28-£32K, depending on previous experience

Job Elements
  1. To act as the liaison between the customer and the factory, understanding and converting customer demand into production line plans ensuring 'On Time In Full delivery'
  2. Receipt and analysis of customer orders and forecasts for existing products and launch products;
  3. Creation of a realistic and fluid production plan taking into account business constraints;
  4. Extensive liaison with internal departments and external parties ensuring clear communication and effective execution of the role;
  5. Monitoring and measurement of On Time In Full results to ensure agreed objectives are met;
  6. Completion of daily and monthly reporting.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
  1. Good standard of education; AS level Mathematics and English (or equivalent);
  2. Advanced Excel, Outlook and ERP software (Sage X3) skills;
  3. Experience of working in an FMCG, cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment;
  4. Experience of working with MRP;
  5. Understanding of supply chain and associated lead times;
  6. Ability to communicate appropriately and confidently with external and internal stakeholders at all levels via both telephone and face-to-face.
