Job Description

Looking for a production role with flexible shift options and the opportunity for long-term work?

We’re recruiting Food Production Operatives to join an established food production site, preparing and packing fresh vegetables, with immediate starts available.

You’ll be working as part of a busy production team, helping to prepare, process and pack fresh vegetables ready for distribution.

Your responsibilities will include washing and preparing vegetables, chopping and processing produce, preparing products for packing and bagging finished goods.

You’ll also be responsible for maintaining quality standards, following food safety procedures and keeping your working area clean and hygienic.

As the role involves working on a production line, you’ll need to be comfortable standing for extended periods and working efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular shifts and immediate starts.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Day shifts pay £12.71 per hour, while night shifts pay £13.31 per hour. You’ll also have the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata.

Working Hours: You can choose between day and night shifts, depending on your availability and preference.Day shifts run from 08:00 to 17:00, while night shifts run from 20:00 to 05:00. You’ll work five shifts per week, scheduled between Monday and Sunday depending on availability.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience is essential, experience in food production would be an advantage. You’ll need to be comfortable working with food and standing on a production line for extended periods.
