Job description

Job title: Production Line Leader
Location: Sherburn
Salary: GBP28,548
Hours: 37.5 hours Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm

The Recruitment Group is working with a market-leading co-packer with over 30 years of experience, providing cost-effective and innovative co-packing and co-manufacturing solutions. They are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join their growing team.

Purpose of the Production Line Leader Role:

This role involves managing production lines and labor to meet planned volume and commercial targets, ensuring compliance with QA and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Motivate a team to meet production targets and act as a role model for best practices.
  2. Ensure final products meet client specifications (SPI) and maximize production efficiency to meet daily and hourly plans.
  3. Use the integrated management system (Vision) accurately, ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed per company procedures.
  4. Promote and adhere to health, safety, and quality regulations.
  5. Ensure compliance with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
  6. Liaise with agency controllers, providing feedback on agency workers.
  7. Participate in team leader meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Assist in training new starters, conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews, and participate in appraisals.
  9. Monitor, control, and minimize waste.
  10. Engage in personal development through training and work-based experiences.
