Job title: Production Line Leader
Location: Sherburn
Salary: £28,548
Hours: 37.5 hours Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm

The Recruitment Group is working with a market-leading co-packer, with over 30 years of experience, providing cost-effective and innovative co-packing and co-manufacturing solutions. They are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join their team.

Purpose of the Role:

This role involves managing production lines and labour to meet volume and commercial targets, ensuring compliance with QA and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate the team to meet production targets, acting as a role model
  • Ensure final products meet client specifications and maximize efficiency
  • Use the management system (Vision) to complete paperwork accurately
  • Promote health, safety, and quality standards
  • Ensure hygiene audits are passed
  • Liaise with agency controllers and provide feedback
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement
  • Train new staff, conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews, participate in appraisals
  • Monitor waste and drive personal development
