Overview

Barker Ross are currently looking for a Line Leader for a co-pack operation based in the NN6, Daventry area. This is a temp to perm role with the opportunity to work for a world leading food and beverage company.

The successful candidate must have a 'can do' attitude towards work with an eagerness to get the job done. The shift patterns available are 06:00 to 14:00, with flexibility to cover the PM shift 14:00 to 22:00 if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of operatives to meet production targets and product specifications
• Effectively use the onsite IT and Warehouse Management Systems
• Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
• Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed accurately in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits (internal and external) and follow good manufacturing practices
• Attend Line Leader meetings
• Assist in the training and development of new starters
• Act as a role model for best practice
• Work alongside staff on the production line
• Ad hoc production duties
