Job summary

IPL Whittlesey is seeking a Line Leader to join our onsite Production Team at the Whittlesey site. You will lead a production line, driving efficiency, quality and safety while meeting daily targets and customer orders.

The role is permanent with a Tuesday–Saturday 7:45am–4:30pm schedule, site-based, offering opportunities for development and continuous improvement in a food production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a line in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and food hygiene standards.
• Ability to work quickly, accurately and methodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and organize a production line to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Verify that finished products meet customer specifications and are released correctly.
• Be accountable for product quality and process documentation.
• Perform daily checks and maintain accurate records (start-up checks, handover, HS).
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with packaging to ensure labels/packaging are ready and correct.
• Assist and deputise for Shift Operation Leader when needed.
