Job Title: Production Lead - Mars Wrigley Plymouth - Night shift

Shift Details: 40 hour night shift Mon - Fri (22:00 - 06:00)

Salary: £64,000 (Base pay + Shift allowance) + Company bonus

What are we looking for?
  • Experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Experience in an FMCG or high-speed production environment.
  • SAP literacy is desirable, or a good ability to learn new systems.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft-based systems.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Leads.
  • Organize shift manning, including lunch breaks and coverage.
  • Attend planning meetings and maintain regular communication with the Scheduling Department.
  • Operate as a Production Technical Operator.
  • Provide regular team leader coverage.
  • Conduct standards checks (GMP, CL, CIL, Shadow/Tool boards, 5S).
  • Handle escalations, safety, and quality updates in systems as required.
  • Prepare end-of-shift handover reports.
  • Manage holiday bookings and scheduling.
  • Oversee purchase orders for equipment, tools, training, and services.
  • Cover other roles as per business needs.
