Job Description

Overview: Join Mars as a Production Lead at our Plymouth factory. This role involves leading manufacturing operations on a rotating shift basis, with a competitive salary including base pay, shift allowance, and bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handover with incoming and outgoing Production Leads
  2. Organize shift staffing, breaks, and coverage
  3. Attend planning meetings and coordinate with scheduling
  4. Oversee production technical operations
  5. Manage team coverage and standards (GMP, CL, CIL, Shadow/Tool boards, 5S)
  6. Handle escalations related to safety and quality
  7. Prepare end-of-shift handover reports
  8. Manage holiday bookings and purchase orders
  9. Perform other roles as required by the business

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Leadership experience in manufacturing is essential
  • Experience in FMCG or high-speed production environments
  • Familiarity with SAP or quick learner, proficient in Microsoft systems
