Job summary

GSK Worthing site is seeking a Production Lead to oversee on-site manufacturing lines, ensure schedule adherence, and maintain safety and quality standards across the packaging floor. You will lead a skilled team, drive continuous improvement, and manage KPI tracking while working within GMP and GPS 5S guidelines to deliver high-quality medicines.

Qualifications

• A levels or GCSEs (Maths and English)
• Experience in a production area with leading technicians
• Ability to run production lines in the area
• SAP knowledge
• Ability to follow Leader Standard Work
• Logical fault finding leading to timely decisions
• Basic GPS knowledge for problem solving
• Knowledge of audit processes, preparation and requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead production lines to deliver output and schedule adherence with hands-on support
• Communicate shift targets clearly and handover using logbook/system
• Drive performance by challenging team members and escalating when needed
• Create and deliver technician training plans and provide operational cover
• Maintain accurate hourly/daily metrics and monitor shift performance
• Ensure GMP, safety and regulatory requirements are met, including GPS 5S and housekeeping
• Complete BPR prep, MERP activities, reconciliations and OOS investigations
• Lead Tier 1 activity for allocated zones, manage OEE targets and pallet movement
