Are you a driven production professional who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environments? Our client, an industry leader with cutting-edge, fully automated production lines, is seeking a Production Lead to help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The Role:

As Production Lead, you will be at the heart of daily operations — ensuring plans are executed, issues are resolved fast, and production runs at maximum efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineering, development, and management teams to keep performance high and downtime low.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily production activities, ensuring resources and equipment are aligned
  • Analyse short-term performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement process enhancements
  • Manage changeovers, NPD integration, and equipment maintenance schedules
  • Drive quality, reduce waste, and oversee line cleaning and compliance
  • Develop and coach operators, lead team performance reviews, and update SOPs
  • Provide hands-on support during breakdowns and technical challenges
About You:

Proven experience in a high-pressure manufacturing environment

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset

Confident in leading teams and influencing across departments

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Comfortable with out-of-hours availability when needed

Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) is highly desirable
