Production Lead Required In Telford, Shropshire

Do you have experience working within the Food Manufacturing, Food Packaging, FMCG, or Manufacturing Industry? Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity?

We are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business in Telford to recruit a Production Lead on a permanent basis. This company is expanding its production capacity by adding two new lines and aims to hire staff between now and early September.

The role is suitable for candidates living within a 20-25 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.

The position involves working Monday to Friday, 39.5 hours per week, with an annual salary ranging from £45,000 to £52,000 depending on experience.

The interview process consists of two stages: an initial numeracy and literacy assessment on-site in Telford.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a Production Manager, Shift Manager, Senior Production Manager, Production Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager within the Food Manufacturing Industry.

What You Will Do

1. Oversee daily production plans, ensuring equipment and resources are in place for smooth operations.
2. Develop strategies to manage orders efficiently and address challenges proactively.
3. Analyze performance data to identify areas for process improvements.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing production issues.
5. Monitor product quality and line efficiency, implementing improvements as needed.
6. Lead projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and production standards.
