Job Description
We're looking for a senior operative / Production Lead to join our on-site solution at the Tesco site in Thurrock. It’s the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career into a management role. The role will include hands-on operational work with scheduled time to build your skills in management, including time working on H&S, Quality, and managerial skillsets.
CHEP manages a large pallet pool rented out to customers, with operations focused on repairing and maintaining pallets. The primary purpose of the role is to lead a shift of 11 staff over a Monday to Friday schedule, rotating 0600-1400 and 1400-2200. You’ll promote continuous improvement, safety, and quality metrics while providing leadership to your team. You’ll also build and maintain good relations with third-party management teams on site.
