Job description

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Role Overview

Would you like to lead the production of videos that make a global impact? If you have a talent for developing and producing high-quality audio and video content and are an innovative thinker with excellent communication skills, then we’re looking for you.

We are seeking an audio and video production and digital content specialist to work on high-profile cross-university projects as part of the Digital Education Service. This is a key role supporting the production of video content for online courses on external platforms such as FutureLearn, and the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with subject matter experts and external stakeholders to produce high-quality, professional, and innovative video and animated learning assets.
  2. Support the development of engaging learning journeys through video content to enhance the work of Course Design Teams.
  3. Contribute to the university’s ambitions to develop immersive technology solutions for educational advancement.
  4. Utilize the new multimedia and design facilities in the dedicated digital learning facility to produce content.

Candidate Profile

This role suits a dynamic individual with proven experience in multimedia production, complemented by excellent communication and organizational skills.
