Job description

We are seeking a Composite Laminator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  1. Laminating and tooling across a broad range of products.
  2. Understanding technical drawings and laminate manuals.
  3. Checking that information on drawings is clear.
  4. Laminating with good attention to detail.
  5. Vacuum bagging parts to a high standard.
  6. Assisting in all aspects of production, including preparation of moulds and de-moulding.
The Candidate:
  1. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to plan and organise workload.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Good knowledge of laminating processes for different materials used in creating high-quality components.
  4. Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals.
  5. Comfortable working to tight timeframes with demanding quality requirements.
  6. Previous experience of using initiative.
  7. High attention to detail.

Additional Benefits:

  • Holidays start at 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays) based on a 4-day week.
  • Overtime rates after basic hours are 1.5x, applicable on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Overtime on Sundays is paid at 2.0x basic hourly rates.

Salary: £12.00 to £12.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, 07:15 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 37 hours weekly.

Overtime is available from Monday to Saturday at time and a half, and on Sundays/bank holidays at double time.
