Job description

Our client, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking a Production Helper to join their team. As a Production Helper, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a safety mindset, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Helper

Location: Wakefield, MA

Pay Range: $21 per hour

Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM

What's the Job?

  • Safely perform a wide range of tasks, including conducting quality checks and material setup.
  • Learn to operate corrugator and converting machines to produce high-quality corrugated packaging.
  • Inspect products for defects and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety procedures and guidelines.

What's Needed?

  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled environment.
  • Ability to read and understand basic English.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Desire to work in a team environment and willingness to work required overtime, including Saturdays.
  • No prior experience is necessary; a strong commitment to safety and attendance is essential.
