MacTaggart Scott is seeking an experienced Production Fitter to assist in the manufacture of hydraulic and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and possess good knowledge of hydraulic systems. This role offers a 4-day work week, overtime opportunities, and a supportive environment for career growth.
MacTaggart Scott are looking to recruit a Production Fitter to work in our Assembly Department. Due to an increase in workload, we are expanding our assembly team and require experienced fitters/mechanical engineers to achieve customer deadlines.
Role:
This role reports into the Assembly Team Leader. The purpose of the role is to assist in the manufacture of hydraulic and mechanical equipment. The role requires an understanding of hand and power tools, calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, Micrometres, Vernier Callipers etc., along with a thorough understanding of customer quality requirements.
