We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Production Engineering Technician work on the world's first and only nanopore DNA sequencer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about new technology.
The Details...
Reporting to the Associate Director of Production Engineering, you'll work with production, external equipment suppliers and wider Engineering teams to ensure equipment and production processes are maintained to a high standard with minimal stoppages within production. You’ll provide hands on Engineering technical support for product manufacturing lines and process, fault finding where needed or contacting equipment suppliers troubleshooting equipment issues.

What We're Looking For...
We'll expect you to have relevant qualifications in a mechanical engineering or equivalent, and hands on experience in equipment maintenance and calibration within an automated/ semi-automated environment. Alongside your strong technical background, you'll be a strong communicator with ability of discussing, prioritising organising activities with wider team.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively with others from multi-disciplinary teams, likes to take a hands-on approach and is a proactive problem solver.
