Job summary

Oxford Technology Park is looking for a Production Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. The role focuses on refining manufacturing approaches, ensuring efficiency and quality, while mentoring junior engineers and implementing rapid tooling methods.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship Level 4/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• IOSH Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Flexibility around working hours, with shift work as a possibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve manufacturing processes in assigned production areas.
• Conduct detailed capacity planning to increase production ability.
• Train production staff on new processes and technologies.

Skills

Electrical and/or Mechanical technical knowledge

Excellent verbal & communication skills

Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software

Familiarity with QMS systems

Experience of working with High Voltage products

Education

Apprenticeship Level 4/HNC in engineering discipline
