A leading company in Harrogate is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team. Location - Harrogate
Salary - Up to £40,000
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating within a cross-departmental team to ensure the seamless transition of products from design to production
Providing various formats of information to support manufacturing and servicing processes that meet company and industry quality standards
Identifying the most suitable manufacturing methods for the company's products and ensuring best practices are implemented
Coordinating with suppliers and the purchasing team to manage the supply chain for outsourced activities, including conducting supplier audits and performance reviews
Continuously reviewing manufacturing methods as part of the company's commitment to continual improvement
Operating within the document control system to ensure all manufacturing information and documentation is formally approved, released, and updated as needed
Ensuring accurate maintenance of manufacturing database information

To be considered for this role, the Production Engineer should have:
Experience in assembling and testing mechanical assemblies and products
Experience in creating and updating assembly and test procedures, as well as maintaining associated records
Proficiency in interpreting and creating engineering drawings and bills of materials
A solid understanding of process hold points, quality control activities, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
