Job summary

Nova Talent and a leading engineering and technology organisation seek a Production Engineer to bring new products into production and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and test processes. You will work with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and supported throughout their lifecycle.

The role focuses on electronics manufacturing, PCBAs/SMT, and electro-mechanical products, with responsibilities spanning NPI, process

Qualifications

• Experience in a Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Experience supporting the manufacture and testing of electronic products.
• Knowledge of PCBAs, SMT, and electro-mechanical products.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, product introduction and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support product development to ensure designs are manufacturable and testable.
• Lead the introduction of new products into production, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacture.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve efficiency.
• Support development and maintenance of production test systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support manufacturing partners and subcontractors to ensure alignment with quality and production requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for production processes and manufacturing operations.
