Job summary

Corintech is seeking a Production Engineer to support all stages of manufacturing, from documentation to shop-floor problem solving. You will work with UK teams and Far East partners to ensure products are built efficiently and to the highest quality.

The role suits someone with a strong interest in electronics and manufacturing who enjoys variety and cross-department collaboration, with a focus on hands-on engineering and process development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics at component level and ability to read circuit diagrams, wiring schedules and Gerber files.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing & PCBA processes.
• Basic test and fault-finding skills.
• Experience using CAD software (2D/3D) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid technical support to in-house production teams and subcontract manufacturers to minimise downtime and resolve non-conformances.
• Support PCBA and final assembly processes, including test setup, troubleshooting, and occasional test execution.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
