Energy Jobline CVL in Stafford, Staffordshire, is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs. You will own problems from start to finish, identify root causes and implement practical solutions while working a four-day week (Mon-Thu) in a growing engineering business.

The role requires a background in Production/Manufacturing or Process Engineering, CAD experience, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Background in Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
• Proven track record of improving manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Hands-on engineer with CAD experience and tooling/fixtures.
• Good communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve production processes, efficiency, quality and costs.
• Investigate problems, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Improve tooling, jigs, fixtures and manufacturing methods.
• Provide practical engineering support to the production team.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving projects.
• Update work instructions, processes and engineering documentation.
• Work within a cross range of departments.
• Monitor improvements to ensure delivery of lasting results.
