This is a Production Engineer role with an established manufacturer of high-tech electronic communication products.

You will lead new product introduction into production, design and refine production test systems, and drive the initiatives that improve manufacturing processes and efficiency. Working closely with Product Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, as well as manufacturing sub-contractors, you will keep manufacturing and test processes aligned and continually improving. If you are a Production Engineer who enjoys making complex products manufacturable and keeping production running at its best, this is a role with real variety.

  • Maintaining and supporting production processes and test systems

  • Working closely with manufacturing sub-contractors to synchronise manufacturing and test processes

  • Managing risks within engineering projects with minimal supervision

  • Fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment

Skills and Experience

  • An engineering or science degree, or equivalent qualification

  • Expertise in production engineering, focused on manufacturing and testing complex electronic products, including PCBs, surface mount assemblies and mechanical design

  • A proven ability to manage risks in engineering projects with minimal supervision

  • Strong interpersonal, team-building and communication skills

  • A pragmatic approach, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making and planning abilities

  • A customer and results-oriented mindset, delivering solutions that align with business objectives

  • Experience in product design and testing of electronic products, which is desirable
