Job Title: Production Engineer (Mechanical) - Milton Keynes Outskirts

Salary: Up to £45,000

Company Overview: We are a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of intelligent management systems for keys and equipment. Established nearly 30 years ago for the airline industry, we now supply major retailers including Walmart and Ikea. We are expanding our R&D team and seeking a Mechanical Development/Production Engineer to support product development and resolve escalated issues.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Apply mechanical engineering skills to solve manufacturing problems and evaluate new product developments.
2. Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to provide technical support and investigate issues.
3. Conduct quality assurance tests such as life-cycle and durability testing of components and products.

Candidate Attributes:

• Minimum of a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering; an engineering/technical apprenticeship is advantageous.
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (sheet metal fabrication, extrusions, casting, moulding, machining).
• Broad experience in electro-mechanical product development, manufacturing, and testing procedures.
• Ability to interpret complex electro-mechanical technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset.
