My client, a market leader within aerospace manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Production Engineer!

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency, utilisation, and productivity using Lean Manufacturing techniques and NPI Processes. You will play a key part in exciting new projects for the business!

Other responsibilities include:

• Reducing process variability, increasing product quality, and reducing costs through Lean Manufacturing and relevant techniques
• Reviewing and monitoring Cell Layouts for optimal process flow and managing changes as needed
• Leading improvement projects to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People Objectives
• Conducting process capability and Value Stream Mapping studies to identify improvements with quality engineers

Experience or Qualifications –

• BSc or HNC in Mechanical / Production Engineering, ideally with Aerospace background
• Experience designing tooling and fixtures for heading, forging, and machining
• Experience with metal forming or metalworking processes
• Proven track record of process improvement and capability
