Beagle Aircraft in Christchurch, UK, is seeking a Production/Manufacturing Engineer to optimise aerospace components manufacture on the shop floor. You will own manufacturing methods, routings, BOMs and production documentation, turning engineering requirements into practical, efficient processes.
The role requires hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience with sheet metal and/or fitting/assembly, plus capability with ERP/MRP routings and BOM updates.

We're looking for an experienced Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering team in Christchurch, supporting and improving the manufacture of aerospace components and assemblies.
We're particularly interested in someone with an aerospace manufacturing background, practical knowledge of sheet metal and/or fitting/assembly, and experience maintaining ERP/MRP routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 4months but for the right individual they may be scope for a permanent role
Working closely with Production, Planning and Quality, you'll provide hands-on engineering support to the shop floor while developing and improving the processes used to manufacture our products.
You'll take ownership of manufacturing methods, routings, BOMs, operation timings and production documentation, while helping resolve production issues and support New Product Introduction.
This is a role for someone who understands how aerospace components are actually manufactured and can turn engineering requirements into practical, efficient production processes.

This isn't a Production Engineering role that’s disconnected from manufacturing.
You'll work closely with the shop floor, using your engineering knowledge to solve production problems, improve manufacturing methods and ensure our routings, BOMs and processes accurately reflect how aerospace components are built.
You'll have the opportunity to influence NPI, process improvement, manufacturing efficiency and Right First Time performance within an established aerospace manufacturing business.
