Production Engineer | Derby | Up to £55,000

A leading player in the rolling stock industry is seeking a proactive and technically adept Production Engineer to join their Derby-based team. This role is instrumental in supporting a range of projects across the business - reducing operational pressure and ensuring the consistent delivery of engineering excellence.

As a Production Engineer, your focus will be to providetechnicalproduction and process engineering support, working across departments to ensure accurate BOMs and efficient project execution. You will do this by:

Developingand maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work instructions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production planning
Identifying and implementing process improvements to boost productivity and quality
Supporting procurement and input data into the Sage ERP system

Proven experience within a Mechanical or Production Engineering role in a manufacturing setting (Essential)
