An East Anglian based printer is on the search for a Production Director to ensure that staff members meet production needs while producing a high-quality product for the customer.
Overseeing all aspects of our client’s production policies, objectives, and initiatives, your role will be to schedule and ensure proper utilisation of facilities and personnel for production.
This position requires a highly-skilled, organised, detail-orientated, self-motivated, flexible individual to work within strict deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the production manager, you will ensure expectations are met on timeliness, quality and profitability, safeguarding the reputation of our client from design to delivery. Your wealth of experience will come in to hand when required to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the production process.
Being successful in this role will depend heavily on a strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
A key expectation pertaining to this role will be to adopt best practises in all areas to drive efficiency and enable new product opportunities. You will initiate lean manufacturing plans and processes which minimize costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.
As the head of the department, you will have strong managerial skills, interpersonal skills and a positive team player. Candidates must have experience in a senior management role within the printing industry.
