Key Responsibilities: As a Production Design Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure new bearings are manufacturble.
  • Develop and implement efficient production processes for new bearings.
  • Create manufacturing plans, including bills of materials and production schedules.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks.
  • Design and implement robust gauging solutions.
  • Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize quality and efficiency.

To be successful you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably bearings or precision components).
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
  • Experience with soft machining and hard machining processes is beneficial.
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
