Job Description:

We have a great part-time role for a candidate with experience in fashion operations. Our client is a highly successful established womenswear brand producing own brand and private-label clothing for department stores and boutiques in the UK and abroad.

The responsibilities are varied, involving customer orders, production, logistics, and customer support, offering a great opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.

The role is 2 to 3 days a week, with an immediate start. The salary is negotiable and pro-rata.

  • Liaising with the Production Coordinator and warehouse to ensure customer delivery dates are met without fail, adhering to critical paths for each customer.
  • Liaising with the Pre-Production Coordinator regarding order approvals.
  • Managing and resolving internal and external shipping enquiries.
  • Coordinating the delivery process of garments to multiple customers, preparing paperwork and certificates in advance to ensure smooth deliveries.
  • Managing the website and dispatching customer orders promptly.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Creating and sending newsletters for customer information and marketing.
  • Monitoring deadlines and collaborating with team members and the factory to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and the Managing Director about delivery progress and schedule changes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fashion administration.
  • Understanding of logistics processes.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and good numerical ability.
  • Attention to detail and logical thinking to understand customer processes and systems.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and handle multiple deliveries.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing daily tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and react effectively to last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, reliable, and flexible attitude, willing to go beyond the job description as part of a small team.
