Job description

Production Co-ordinator

Summary

Reporting to Senior Management this role is important to ensure effective co-ordination of manufacturing and repair activities to ensure company objectives and customer expectations are achieved.

Experience in production control within mechanical engineering environment with good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attitude to quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

·Co-ordinate with General Manager to review and establish priorities and prepare schedules.

·Liaise with Operations Manager to assist in production control to meet customer / company requirements.

·Liaise with Repair Eng Manager to ensure timely availability of parts, consumables etc for assembly projects.

·Liaise with administration / purchasing for issue of purchase orders etc for sub-contract.

·Liaise with Engineering regarding assessment process, bills of material and technical sub-contract.

·Monitor material / parts receipts from suppliers to ensure continuous operations.

·Plan sub-contract services in a timely manner to maintain schedule.

·Investigate options to improve production methods and efficiency.

·Ensure quality standards are maintained.

·Salary : £42,000 per annum

·Annual pay review plus additional incentive based on personal annual appraisal.
