Location: Flexible (with travel to BBC Bases)

Salary: £25,900 to £28,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

As a production coordinator, you’ll support the delivery of promotional campaigns and branding across all BBC platforms, helping bring iconic content to life.

You’ll be part of a creatively driven team working on high-profile campaigns for shows like Strictly Come Dancing, Glastonbury, and The Traitors. Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistical and coordination support across multiple productions and platforms.
  • Work closely with editorial teams to deliver content on time and within budget.
  • Support pre- and post-production activities, including shoots and resource planning.
  • Manage production workflows, budgets, and schedules effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative team culture.


Knowledge, skills and experience

Essential

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end production processes, including technical awareness.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets and administrative tools to manage budgets and schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience working across multi-platform content (TV, digital, social, OOH).

Desirable

  • Experience working across multi-platform content (TV, digital, social, OOH).
  • Familiarity with BBC brands and genres.
  • Resilience in fast-paced environments and ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Interest in the BBC and the wider media industry.
